Safer Internet Day 2019

Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by Insafe in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

More information about SID2019 will be available closer to February 2019.

Safer Internet Day 2018 took place on Tuesday 6th February with the theme 'Create, Connect and Share Respect: a better internet starts with you.'

Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre the celebration sees hundreds of schools and organisations join together to raise awareness of online safety issues and run events and activities right across the UK.
