KIT LIST France 2019

For the journey:  Rucksack (containing packed lunch, snacks, drinks and refillable water bottle.  No fizzy drinks please.)

Top Trumps, puzzle books, magazines …. (to help pass the time!)

MP3 Player or old ipod (cheap & not essential!)

Sufficient clothes and spares for 4 days away, including a warm sweatshirt, waterproof jacket and sleep wear. The weather in France may be very warm, but also could be wet or cold. Be prepared!

•             Water bottle
•             Wash kit
•             Medium sized towel
•             Small bag for Parc Astérix (PE bag / string bag ideal)
•             Comfortable trainers (we do a lot of walking)
•             Book
•             Pens / pencils to make notes for scrapbook diary                                 (notebook will be provided)
•             Disposable camera (or cheap digital)
•             Watch
•             Small French Dictionary or phrase book (Not essential, but                 may be useful)
•             Sun cream (essential, it may be hot)
•             Batteries (if needed) , charger & EU adaptor
•             Small wallet/purse

Maximum of €25 & a small purse. The money will be collected in advance and given out in appropriate amounts at appropriate times!   Please do not send any sterling.  Small notes (€5 / €10 max) and coins make it easier to distribute pocket money in sensible amounts.

All of these items must be packed and named in a case/bag which your child can manage alone.

Please remember all cameras, MP3 players & iPods are your child’s responsibility. We recommend bringing disposable cameras and cheap/ old music players.

Mobile phones are NOT to be brought on the trip.  Any phones found will be confiscated by Mr Howard and returned to parents directly after we return.
